Regrettably, without a full model number, we cannot determine if your TV is a compatible model, however, if it is an 'LN4500' series TV, it would not be compatible with the AN-WF500 since that series of TVs are 2013 models...^IFV

Hi Bellobe75. We are not familiar with Model # 42LN570s as this TV was not released in the U.S., but the "LN" in the model number identifies its year of development as 2013. It may be similar to LG 42" Class 1080P LED TV with Smart TV (41.9" diagonally), Model # 42LN5700 which was a U.S. released but is not listed as being compatible with the LG Wi-Fi® Bluetooth® USB Dongle for Select 2014 LG TVs, Model # AN-WF500. This TV did not need a dongle since it had Wi-Fi® Built-in. Please contact the LG Support Center in Italy, htftp://www.lg.com/it, for assistance. I have a son with hearing aids - if I purchase a Bluetooth sound and dongle should he be able to connect to the sound system and at the same time would everyone else be able to hear the sound normally?

I purchased this CSR BT Dongle around one year ago and give below my observations after using this product. Kindly note that I had already purchased this same product earlier from the same vendor on Amazon and so I did not have the download the drivers. I used the same drivers (Windows 7 64-Bit OS) from the earlier purchased BT Dongle CD on both my desktop and Laptop both running Windows 7 64 Bit OS. Now, coming to this product - I will confirm that this package did contain a Driver CD (which I did not have to use) and also there was a small typewritten chit giving instructions on how to download the drivers from the Vendor Site (which again I did not have to use) - but, I did still try to download the Drivers just to make sure that the link provided was valid and can again confirm that the link was working properly.
For those who would like to use this on either a desktop or laptop using Windows 7 - driver installation is a must. For those using Windows 10 - no need to install the drivers as Windows 10 comes with the pre-loaded BT drivers built into the OS. So, if you have Windows 10 - no need to complain about the driver CD not working, incorrect drivers, etc.....
I also noticed that this device works very well when directly connected to the USB Port of the Laptop / Desktop as compared to connecting it indirectly via a USB Hub attached to the Laptop / Desktop --- Not sure what the reason is for this observation.
Kindly note that for Windows 7 (or earlier users) - I did face some issues when trying to install the drivers. You first need to uninstall all the earlier BT drivers from your PC from Control Panel, Device Manager, etc......Only after you do this- you should install the drivers provided by the vendor otherwise, your BT dongle will not be recognized by Windows 7 (or earlier)
Other that the above installation issues - the device works very well and is worth the price paid. Reason for giving 4 Stars (and not 5 Stars) is because I had to struggle initially with the installation of this device in both my Desktop/Laptop to get it working. But, once installed, it has been working well for nearly one year without giving me any further problems. Hence, I have ordered another unit and plan to order another one soon. (vendor is now selling upgraded version of this dongle based on same CSR8510 chipset)
