War Thunder Release Date The release date is not confirmed yet, but the game will be released later this year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. We will update this post, as soon as we have a confirmed release date for the game. Unable to aim with Xbox 360 controller I spent a lot of time trying to configure the controller, but it is impossible. Why the hell did you using xbox controller for war thunder: it's a only mouse and joystick. Because the option is there to use a controller. I use a Nostromo n52 Control Pad, too.

War Thunder For Xbox
There are a few things to bear in mind when reading other people's reviews. You are able to play with a controller, keyboard & mouse, and/or the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One. You can combine keys from all three or stick with one, whatever works best for you so there is no 'unfair advantage' that PC players have over Xbox.There are a few things that are not available to Xbox players and that's we cannot link our Microsoft account with a Gaijin account to post on the War Thunder forums. We also do not have access to Simulator Battles yet. These are things that are in progress and as of yet there is no projected date these will be done.The game is similarily grindy as World of Tanks, and it's easy to spend money in the game for that little bit extra.In all, I very much enjoy the game, the variety of planes, tanks, ships, and helicopters gives you a wide range of ways to play and if you put in the time, have patience, and do some research it's well worth for a free-to-play game.
